FOR HANDBALL CLUBS
The app for a handball club. Mini handball to the first team.
A handball club app has to keep up with a season played at weekends and prepared midweek: youth fixtures, tournaments, minutes for every player, and parents who want the score even when they aren't in the sports hall. Clubiqo keeps it all in one place — the coach takes attendance on a phone, an admin turns on the live score for parents during the match, and the committee sees on the dashboard what has been collected and whose medical check is about to run out.

Parents who aren't in the hall see the score in real time, and live mode switches itself off after four hours.
-
Medical checks
An expiry date for every player, flagged as expiring soon 30 days ahead and listed on the dashboard.
Matches, minutes and ratings after every round
Handball rotates a lot of players, so after a match it matters to write down who played and for how long. In Clubiqo a match is an event: choose the type, add the details and call up the players, and parents confirm. Afterwards you enter the result and the outcome and, for each player, whether they played, minutes on court, whether they started, a rating out of 10 and a note. Parents see their own child's minutes, rating and the coach's comment, so the conversation about time on the bench starts from the same facts. A tournament holds several matches and the team's final placing.
- Match, friendly and tournament as event types
- Parent replies, with a note where needed
- Result and outcome: win, loss or draw
- Minutes, starting line-up, rating and note per player
- A tournament with several matches and a final placing
- Duplicate a match for the next round
Live scores for parents who can't make it
An away fixture in another town means most parents won't see it. While the match is in progress, an admin switches on live mode in the mobile app, and parents see a LIVE strip in their own app with a score that updates in real time. There's no notification for every goal — the score is there when they open the app — and live mode turns itself off after four hours, even if nobody remembers to stop it. Everything else parents can see about the club and their child is on the parent app page.
- Switched on from the mobile app while the match is in progress
- Works for league matches and friendlies
- A LIVE strip in the parent app
- The score updates in real time
- No notification for every goal
- Switches itself off after four hours
Players, medical checks and kit in a handball club app
You define positions in Clubiqo yourselves, so a player's profile shows whether they're a goalkeeper, wing, pivot, back or centre back, and attendance can be filtered by position too. A medical check is valid for one to six months, its expiry date is worked out for you, and it's flagged as expiring soon 30 days before it lapses; those players are listed on the web dashboard's home screen. Shirts, tracksuits and bags go through club kit sales. You can also offer an item to parents, so nothing is owed until they accept — and they can add the size in a note.
- Positions the club names itself: goalkeeper, wing, pivot, back
- Attendance filtered by age group, position and session
- Medical checks valid for one to six months
- Expired and expiring checks listed on the dashboard
- Kit per player, with an individual amount and part payments
- Offers to parents: nothing is owed until they accept
Coaches, age groups and tactics on a blank board
A handball club with five or six age groups has five or six coaches, and they don't all need to see the finances. You set each coach's permissions and limit them to the groups they're assigned, so the U14 coach runs the U14 register and fixtures while fees stay with the committee. For tactics there's the drill board on the web dashboard — with one honest caveat: there's no handball court among the backgrounds, so a 6-0 defence or an attacking move is drawn on a blank board. There are no preset handball formations either.
- Permissions per module: attendance, events, fees, medical checks
- Access limited to assigned age groups
- Coach attendance and pay per session, if the club tracks them
- A drill board on the web dashboard
- A blank background for handball moves — there's no handball court
- A 2D view with no preset handball formations
Common questions
Is there a handball court for drawing tactics?
No. The drill board has backgrounds for football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, the pool and the running track, and handball is drawn on a blank board. For a sketch of a defence, a fast break or a move involving the pivot that's enough, and you can sketch the 6- and 9-metre lines yourself if you need them. A ready-made court and formations exist for sports such as volleyball.
How are minutes and ratings recorded?
After the match you open the event and, for every player called up, mark whether they played, enter their minutes, whether they started, a rating out of 10 and a short note. Parents see their own child's minutes, rating, starting status and the coach's comment in their app. The result and the outcome are entered once, for the whole team.
Do parents get a notification for every goal?
No. When an admin turns on live mode, parents see a strip with the current score in their app, but their phone doesn't buzz after every goal — in handball that could mean fifty notifications a match. Live mode works for league matches and friendlies while they're in progress, and switches itself off after four hours.
How do I keep track of medical checks for the whole squad?
Each check is entered with its date and duration, and the expiry date is worked out for you. Checks with 30 days or fewer left are flagged as expiring soon, and the web dashboard's home screen lists those that have expired or are about to. If the club allows it, parents upload a photo of the certificate themselves and you approve it. More on athlete medical checks.
Can the club charge tournament entry and travel?
Yes. When you create the tournament, mark that it has costs and enter the entry fee, transport, accommodation or anything else, with an individual amount per player where needed. Each player has a status — paid, unpaid or exempt — and anyone who didn't go isn't charged. Parents see the amounts under Finances, in the events section.
