FOR GYMNASTICS CLUBS

The app for a gymnastics club. Every level, every medal.

A gymnastics club app has to follow what sets gymnastics apart from team sports: children work up through levels over years, recreational and competitive groups run by different rules, and on top of the monthly fee there are add-on classes, leotards and competition entries. Clubiqo keeps it all in one place — from the first colour in the recreational group to a medal at nationals, with parents seeing every step in their own app.

  • Ready-made level systems

Recreational colours, competitive Xcel and Levels 1–10 — or your own system with your names and colours.

  • A celebration for every level

Parents get a congratulation on their phone and a graphic sized for Instagram or Facebook Stories.

  • Add-on classes

Extra sessions or special groups are billed as add-ons, each with its own monthly price.

  • Competitions and placings

Who competed, the place won and a note on the routine, with a congratulation to parents for a top-three finish.

Progression levels gymnastics actually uses

Gymnasts don't move up through belts but through levels, and every club has its own logic. So Clubiqo offers three templates: recreational colours running from red to pink, competitive Xcel from Bronze to Sapphire, and Levels 1–10. If none fits, start from scratch and set your own names, order and colours, choosing from 16. Each step up is recorded with the date, the coach and a note, plus an optional passed or not passed mark, and the child's profile keeps the full history. Karate clubs use a similar system, with belts in place of levels.

  • Recreational colours: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink
  • Competitive Xcel: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Sapphire
  • Levels 1–10 for a classic competitive pathway
  • Your own system: names, order and one of 16 colours
  • Date, coach and note on every step up
  • The full progression history on the child's profile

What a gymnastics club app shows parents

For a parent, a new level is an occasion, not a row in a spreadsheet. As soon as the coach records it, the parent gets a congratulation notification saying their child has reached the new level, and the app opens on a celebration screen with a 1080×1920 graphic ready for Instagram or Facebook Stories. A progress card shows where the child is now, and the achievements section keeps first, second and third places from competitions, each with its own shareable graphic. For the club it's free visibility on social media, because the parents do the sharing.

  • A congratulation notification for every new level
  • A celebration screen in the parent app
  • A 1080×1920 graphic for Instagram and Facebook Stories
  • A progress card showing the current level
  • Achievements with first, second and third places
  • Medical check status and attendance history in the same app

Fees, add-on classes and competitions

In gymnastics the monthly fee rarely covers everything. The competitive squad pays a different rate from the recreational group, and a child who takes an extra class on top of regular training pays for that too. Clubiqo raises the basic fee automatically at each group's price — the same membership fee tracking parents follow in their app — while add-ons carry their own monthly price. A competition is its own event type: parents get an invitation and confirm, and afterwards you record the place won and a note. Entry fees and travel are charged per child and appear under Finances.

  • Separate rates for recreational and competitive groups
  • Add-on classes as extra monthly charges
  • Waive a month for a break or an injury
  • Competitions with invitations, confirmations and placings
  • Entry, transport and accommodation per child
  • Automatic reminders to parents who haven't paid

Competition leotards and new gymnasts signing up

A club competition leotard or a display tracksuit goes through club kit sales. Offers work best: the parent accepts or declines in the app and adds the size in a note, and nothing is owed until they accept — so the club orders exactly as many leotards as it needs. Payments can come in instalments, in cash or by bank transfer. New members of the recreational group sign up through a link or QR code from the mobile app: the parent fills in the details, gets access to the parent app, and you assign the child a group.

  • Offers to parents with a reply deadline
  • A note from the parent, such as the leotard size
  • Nothing owed until the parent accepts
  • Instalments, with every payment recorded
  • Sign-up by link or QR code, valid for 24 hours
  • New members wait unassigned until you give them a group

Common questions

Which level systems does Clubiqo support for gymnastics?

Three templates come ready: recreational colours with seven shades from red to pink, competitive Xcel from Bronze to Sapphire, and Levels 1–10. You can edit any of them — names, colours and order — or build a system from scratch if your governing body or your own pathway uses a different structure. Set it up once, and every step up is then recorded with a date and a coach.

Do parents hear when their child moves up a level?

Yes. As soon as the coach records the new level, the parent gets a congratulation notification. The app shows a celebration screen and a graphic sized for Instagram and Facebook Stories, and the progress card updates to the current level. A top-three place at a competition also brings a congratulation, and the placing is kept in the achievements section with a graphic to share.

How do we charge for extra classes on top of the monthly fee?

As an add-on. It's an extra monthly charge that sits alongside the basic fee — a separate tumbling session, say, or a pre-competition squad. That way the regular fee stays the same for the whole group, and only the children who take the extra class pay for it. For adult members with no parent account, the SMS reminder in the mobile app covers add-on debts too.

How do new children join the recreational group?

From the mobile app you create a sign-up link or QR code and send it to the parent. They fill in their own and the child's details, their parent account is set up automatically, and the club owner gets a notification that a new member has joined. Each link is valid for 24 hours and works for one child. More on online club registration.

Does Clubiqo keep gymnasts' medical checks?

Yes. For each check you enter the date and how many months it's valid for, and the expiry date is worked out for you. A check with 30 days or fewer left is flagged as expiring soon, and those are listed on the web dashboard's home screen. Parents see the check's status in their app and can download the current certificate.
